What is a 4 point inspection in Florida?

A 4 point inspection looks at the 4 major systems (Roof, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC) required by insurance companies in an older home. Insurance companies want to make sure that an older home has been well maintained, and the major systems are in good working condition. This is not a safety inspection of the home but could help lower your insurance cost and is required for home insurance coverage. They are performed by a licensed home inspector or building contractor.
